ANALOG PHOTOGRAPHY BY MICHELE

On Friday upstairs at Säälchen, immerse yourself in Michele’s analog photography, capturing the rhythm and soul of jazz bands, musicians, and our vibrant swing scene.

Raw, sometimes blurred, yet always alive — his images translate the pulse of the music into light and shadow.

SILK Screen printing

Saturday night will be THE night to get your shirts and bags printed.

Continuing our BBW tradition, Matthias “Matze” Pflüger has created another amazing illustration for our silk screen printing. Our friends from SDW - Offene Siebdruckwerkstatt are coming again this year with their silk screen printing skills!

You can choose between white and pink paint this year, so we recommend bringing colorful or darker fabrics.

Each print is 5 €. Please bring cash.

There will be limited t-shirts and bags for sale to choose from, if you don’t bring anything, but don’t count on it, they sell fast!

let’s talk consent

(organized by Balboa Swing Club THANK YOU!)

BBW is both excited about their progressive initiative and very happy to support the format!

Friday 6th, 18:00–19:30 (with pizza)

Jahnstraße 87, 12347 Berlin

Camille, Cameron, Adam and Nate, invite all men-identifying people to join them for a conversation on consent.

“The purpose is to create a space where we can allow ourselves to be vulnerable, be heard, question ourselves—individually and as a group—acknowledge when we make mistakes, and learn from them.

This isn’t a lecture. It’s simply a chance to explore what consent means to us men and how we show up in shared spaces. We want to explore how we can make things safer and more comfortable for everyone in general, especially within our swing community and on the dance floor.”

Please drop a line at dance@balswing.de if you plan to show up, so that they can make sure to order enough pizza!
